ISO 14001:2015 (Environment)

Thermo Sensor attaches great importance to cleanliness and order and an environmentally friendly way of working. Through good demand planning, process optimization and order-related production, we avoid waste and thus ensure an efficient use of resources in production. Our building is equipped with LED lamps and we heat and cool with geothermal energy.

 

As part of the CIP system (Continuous Improvement Process), which has been established in the company for years, our employees themselves contribute to environmental protection by considering suggestions for improvement on the subject of the environment, which are then awarded.

 

We try to get a little better every day by using reusable or recycled materials as much as possible. Our outgoing invoices are sent exclusively by e-mail. In addition, we do not use Polystyrene in our shipping, the delivery notes are placed in paper shipping bags or directly in the package. Instead of batteries, we only use rechargeable batteries.

 

The company's in-house restaurant also uses mostly regional organic products, which benefit the environment as well as the health of the employees.

In November 2021, Thermo Sensor GmbH was successfully certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015.

 

While ISO 9001 focuses on product and service quality, environmental management refers to the company and its impact on the environment. With the certification according to ISO 14001, we ensure that we act economically and ecologically sustainable at all times.

 

With our techniques and procedures, we can ensure that environmental protection and profitability are in harmony. We strive for a responsible use of resources and environmental protection. Our entire company is heated and cooled with the help of heat pumps. Responsibility towards the environment is an integral part of our corporate philosophy.
