Straight Thermocouple with metallic outer protection tube

Thermocouples with metallic thermowells are used for temperature measurement in gas, liquid and plastic media. The upper temperature limit for metallic thermowells is 1150°C – 1200°C. Depending on the application, various stainless steels with high nickel-chromium contents as well as nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys are used here. Depending on the thickness of the thermowells and an additional ceramic inner tube, the service life can be significantly extended.

For comparative measurements, we also offer this element with test hole. The sensor is generally available in all thermal pairings (e.g. type S, R) and corresponds to class 1 according to DIN EN 60584. Various connection head variants are available.
