Straight Thermocouple vacuum-sealed

Vacuum-tight thermocouples are used in heat treatment processes in which the vacuum atmosphere serves to avoid undesirable interactions between the material batch and the environment. The thermocouple is filled with a shielding gas and vacuum-sealed so that no oxygen can penetrate the heat treatment process in the event of possible damage to the thermocouple and this destroys the batch. Depending on the temperature range, various thermowell materials such as oxide ceramics and sapphire crystal are used.

The sensor is generally available in all thermal pairings (e. g. type S, R) and corresponds to class 1 according to DIN EN 60584. Various connection head variants are available.
